PDF import and export tools inside Photoshop
Open selected PDF pages as artboards, layers in one document, or separate Photoshop documents.
Choose the page range, DPI, color mode, bit depth, background, and PDF crop box before importing.
Export the current document, selected layers or groups, visible top-level layers, or all artboards as PDF, JPG, PNG, or WebP.
The plugin works offline, does not upload documents, and does not require a PDF20 account.
Local, offline document processing
Selected files are processed on your computer inside Adobe Photoshop. The plugin does not request network access, and exports do not flatten or overwrite the original Photoshop document.
System requirements
Adobe Photoshop 25.0 or newer on Windows or macOS.
How to use the PDF20 Photoshop plugin
Open the Adobe Exchange listing and install the PDF20 plugin through Adobe Creative Cloud.
In Photoshop, choose Plugins, then open Convert between PDF and PSD by PDF20.
Use PDF Import to bring PDF pages into Photoshop, or Document Export to create PDF or image files from the active document.
Choose the required pages, structure, format, and quality settings, then run the task and select a destination when prompted.
